Welcome to the web site of the NW Somerset Branch Labour Party.

Campaigning for a fairer, more equal and peaceful society, locally, nationally and internationally.

The branch – which is one of the four branches of the Wells Constituency Labour Party – represents the Labour Party in towns and villages from Cheddar and Axbridge to Highbridge and Burnham, from Brean and Berrow to Mark and Wedmore.  Click here for further details of the area we cover.

The branch meets monthly on the third Wednesday of every month and we aim to meet in various locations around the NW Somerset area.  Recently we have met in Mark Village Hall, The Lamb (Axbridge), Shipham Village Hall,  Burnham and Highbridge Community Centre and in December we met in Compton Bishop, not far from Axbridge again.

We campaign – canvassing, leafletting or running a monthly street stall on the fourth Saturday of every month.  We have run stalls in Burnham on Sea (outside B&M), Cheddar (outside Sainsbury) and Highbridge (Market Street & outside the Highbridge Library).  We have canvassed and delivered leaflets in Highbridge, Cheddar and Burnham on Sea.
