A number of members have turned out for various campaigning activities before and most importantly since the 2017 general election.  Thank you to all the members who have canvassed in Highbridge and Rooksbridge.
Thank you also to everyone who has taken part in the street stalls in Burnham on Sea, Cheddar and Highbridge and who took part in the anti-cuts demonstration at the Burnham on Sea Library and the Highbridge Library.  Members have taken part in a variety of other activities within and outside the constituency, for example at the Weston Hospital march and public meeting in November 2017 and again in July 2018.

We have currently the largest number of full members in the Constituency – over 280 at the start of 2018 and a further 60 with Registered Supporter status – more than 340 paying members.  No wonder the Labour Party is the largest political party in Europe nowadays.

We have 37 members who are 27 or younger – and there are 110 young members across the whole CLP.

There are many roles to play and tasks that need doing – many of which can be undertaken from home and without pounding the streets:  Canvassing, staffing street stalls, fund-raising, writing letters and keeping up to date with social media posts, telephone calling, folding leaflets, and so on, and so on.

If you feel you can contribute in any way at all, then do contact us via email at:  We shall look forward to having you on board.
